The buildings that are subject to this guidance are those with a centralised water distribution system which exposes the public to water points-of-use which emit aerosols that can disperse Legionella.
Hotels, tourist accommodation, campsites, retirement homes, colleges, universities, schools, public swimming pools… are all Public Buildings which are affected by the regulations.
